Introduce your brand

I designed a new identity system for Metro Bank. The new visual language is built around kinetic typographic and stickers treatments inspired by the personal and community approach – the values of Metro Bank.

I worked solely on the project to create a motion brand, that’s intentionally casual and balances the clarity and humourous of a people-people banking company.

The videos are created by using a proportional grid that introduces humour and unexpected occurrences into the compositions. This ensures that the visuals will remain fresh and have the potential to grow beyond the initial guidelines into a robust visual language.

Metro Bank is considered the peoples-people. It is the first high bank to launch in the UK after 150 years with a focus on personal banking service and retail experience.  A different type of bank with stores that are opened when it suits the customer, 7 days a week. A bank where you can walk in without an appointment and walk out with a working account, debit card and all.
