I designed a new identity system for Metro Bank. The new visual language is built around kinetic typographic and stickers treatments inspired by the personal and community approach – the values of Metro Bank.
I worked solely on the project to create a motion brand, that’s intentionally casual and balances the clarity and humourous of a people-people banking company.
The videos are created by using a proportional grid that introduces humour and unexpected occurrences into the compositions. This ensures that the visuals will remain fresh and have the potential to grow beyond the initial guidelines into a robust visual language.
